Based in the historic Manatee Pocket of Stuart, Florida, at the entrance to the St. Lucie Inlet, we provide bespoke provisioning, marine parts procurement, steward services, and shoreside concierge support for yachts, commercial vessels, sportfishing boats, trawlers, sailboats, and private cruisers.
For generations, Manatee Pocket has served as a safe harbor for working boats, world-class sportfishing vessels, and cruising yachts making their way along Florida’s coast and onward to the Bahamas. It is from this iconic waterfront community that we proudly serve captains, crews, and vessel owners with personalized service and trusted local expertise.
Founded by Edward Hubbard, Manatee Pocket Provisions grew from a lifelong appreciation for both the land and the sea. A farmer by trade and a sailor by passion, Edward brings a commitment to fresh, locally sourced produce and seafood, attention to detail, and an unwavering respect for craftsmanship. Those values were first cultivated through the Shoestring Sailing Association, founded in 2015, where helping fellow mariners became more than a passion—it became a calling.
We believe the finest provisions begin at their source, the best voyages begin with careful preparation, and the strongest partnerships are built on trust. Whether we’re sourcing premium provisions, locating hard-to-find marine parts, coordinating with the area’s most respected boatyards and marine trades, or arranging steward services for your vessel, our goal is always the same: to make your time ashore effortless and your time underway exceptional.
